PSK MEMBERSHIP: ELEVATE YOUR PHARMACY JOURNEY

The Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya (PSK) is pleased to introduce a revamped membership structure—designed to be inclusive, rewarding, and responsive to the evolving needs of pharmacy professionals at every stage of their career, both at home and in the diaspora.

Whether you are a student, a young pharmacist, a seasoned practitioner, or a Kenyan pharmacist practising abroad, there is a place for you in PSK.

CATEGORIES OF MEMBERSHIP

Full Membership

Full membership is conferred on the following individuals:

  • Pharmacists registered by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
    • 0–3 Years Post-PPB Registration: Early-career pharmacists within three years of full registration with the PPB.
      • Membership fee of Ksh5,000
    • Over 3 Years Post-PPB Registration: Practising pharmacists with more than three years since PPB registration.
      • Membership Fee of Ksh10,000

Associate Membership

Associate membership shall be open to the following:

  • Pharmacist interns holding a minimum of a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or its equivalent from an institution recognised in Kenya, but who are not registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
    • Membership fee of Ksh2,000
  • Students pursuing a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an institution recognised by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
    • Membership fee of Ksh2,000
  • Diaspora-Africa: Kenyan pharmacists residing and practising elsewhere in Africa.
    • Membership fee of USD100
  • Diaspora – Outside Africa: Kenyan pharmacists residing and practising outside the African continent.
    • Membership fee of USD200

Honorary Membership

Consists of such persons as the NGC may, from time to time, award from amongst persons who have rendered distinguished service to the Society or to the Pharmacy profession.

Affiliate/Society Membership

Open to associations or societies with similar aims and objectives to any or all of those of PSK, who will be willing to give reciprocating membership.

Fellowship

Every year, on the recommendations of the Committee of Fellows, the NEC forwards the names of persons to be conferred fellowships to the NGC, which, on behalf of the Society, approves the nominations for the Fellowship Awards. Fellows shall hold the title at the pleasure of the Society, and fulfil or observe any requirements as may be deemed necessary.

RENEWAL OF MEMBERSHIP

  1. Visit members.psk.or.ke
  2. Log in to the portal using your PPB registration number
  3. On the dashboard, click on PAY NOW and complete the process.
